I have not read such a good book for a long time! Collen McCullough was, in fact, one of the best writers of recent times. From «the thorn birds» to this «bittersweet», rich historical novels with strong characters, well-detailed scenarios and very interesting plots. It was very good, very current. No one wastes time while reading this author.
